Ringfolk

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Ringfolk ("we", "us") provides an AI phone receptionist service for businesses ("Customers"). This policy covers information we collect from Customers and from people who call a Customer's Ringfolk-answered phone number ("Callers").

What we collect

From Customers: business name, contact information, billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers), and the configuration you provide for your receptionist (greeting, services, hours, pricing).

From Callers: audio of the call, a transcript, and any information volunteered during the call (name, callback number, reason for calling, preferred appointment time). Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

How we use it

To operate the receptionist service, respond to leads on the Customer's behalf, process billing, and improve the quality of the AI's responses.

Who we share it with

Twilio (telephony), Anthropic (the AI model powering conversations), and Stripe (billing) as service providers, each under their own privacy terms. We do not sell Caller or Customer data.

Call recording notice

Call recording laws vary by state and country. Customers are responsible for ensuring their use of Ringfolk complies with recording-consent requirements in their jurisdiction and their Callers' jurisdictions.
